The Times of Israel is reporting that "Archaeologists say they found the town where future King David took refuge from Saul."
This is part of the archaeological dig site where OU students are working under the leadership of Michael Pytlik, director of Judaic Studies and the director of the Cis Maisel Center for Judaic Studies and Community Engagement.

"In addition to the current students' efforts, many other students have worked on the project over the years and helped bring us to the point of these latest discoveries," said Pytlik. "I'd also point out that Dr. Jon Carroll, co-leader of the project, has contributed significantly through the use of his GIs drone technology in Israel and Dr. Richard Stamps has also co-led past trips. Both men played important roles in the project's success."
